Start from a structure, not a blank grid.

Tablesmit's built-in templates generate the right columns, headers, and row structure for common table types. Skip the setup and get straight to the content.

Benefits

Structure in one click

Each template generates the complete column structure for its use case — headers, column types, and initial rows — so you start filling content immediately.

Fully editable after generation

Templates are starting points. Every column can be renamed, retyped, resized, or removed. Every row can be edited, merged, or extended.

Export-ready from the start

Templates are designed to export cleanly. The Pricing Table PDF looks like a real pricing document. The Schedule exports to Excel with correct date columns.

Or start from scratch

Templates are optional. Set your own row and column count in Grid Size and click Create a Table to start with a blank grid.

How it works

1

Click Templates in the toolbar

The Templates dropdown shows all available templates. Each one shows a brief description of its use case.

2

Select your template

Click a template to generate the table instantly. The correct columns, headers, and initial rows appear in the grid.

3

Fill in your content

Click any cell to edit. Tab to move to the next cell. Use the toolbar buttons to add rows or columns as your data grows.

4

Export when ready

Export to PDF, Excel, PNG, or CSV directly from the toolbar — or use keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+P and Ctrl+Shift+X.
